• Late in 1998, a female broadcaster who worked at a mainstream radio station called to say that she and a co-worker had been spending a lot of time listening to the Salem affiliate in that market.  More importanly, she shared that it had had an impact on her co-worker and, as a result, the co-worker had given his life to the Lord that very evening!

• And here's a heart wrenching story from a lady who called to tell how her 21-year old brother had just died in a motorcycle accident.  He was a drug user and a heavy drinker.  One month before his death he started listening to the local Salem affiliate, and it changed his life dramatically.  He began seeking the things of God and started attending church where he surrendered his life to Jesus.  His sister and family reported they were just so thankful to God for the station's timely influence in her brother's life before he was "called home to be with the Lord."
  
• I just need to tell you how much (listening to you) has meant to me. My husband moved into his heavenly mansion last September and this house has been oh so empty. One day a friend saw that my computer was in the master bedroom and suggested that I link into your Solid Gospel station 105 out of Nashville.  This computer has not been off since that day.  Now when I lay down to sleep, I'm not alone and find such peace in the music ministries of all the Southern gospel groups.  Thank you so much for making this possible.
