Gregg Hutchins

The Gregg Hutchins Show, “completely unprepared, unrehearsed, and uncalled for.” Gregg couples down-home humor with listener interaction, and a very popular “Cooking With Gregg” segment. In fact, Gregg has published two cookbooks, and has had recipes printed in nationally-released books like “Around The Opry Table,” which is found in Cracker Barrel Restaurants across the U.S.

Gregg has been on the radio, behind the mic, for many years. He has been involved in radio since 1974. He has garnered several awards, including DJ Of The Year, The Golden Mic Award, and received a Cashbox Magazine award for producing the 1995 Christian Country Song Of The Year, “Adam’s Side” by The late Billy Walker. Gregg has been a part of Solid Gospel since 2000.

He also operates a recording studio, The Sound Den, and for the past 13 years, has been the drummer for Grand Ole Opry star, Jean Shepard.

Greg Goodman

Greg has been in radio since the age of 17, now with over 20 years of experience. He spent about half of his career in secular radio before finding his way to Solid Gospel. Greg has won several March of Dimes Air Awards and was a top five nominee for “Large Market DJ of the Year” in the 2006 Singing News Fan Awards.

Greg has been blessed with a beautiful wife, Debbie and two lovely daughters, Maddie and Courtney. He collects Mallard duck decoys and enjoys reading fiction in his spare time.

Afternoons

Jami Mayberry

Jami was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University. Jami has bee in radio for over 30 years in Texas, Oklahoma, California, New Mexico and Tennessee. She was the first female in the format of CCM to host her own nationally syndicated radio show in the 80's. She was a MSNBC country music correspondent for Nashville in the 90's and served on the TN State Senate Staff in 2002-03 with a resolution passed in her honor on her final day by the Senate. She married in July 2010 after being single for 20 years. She met her husband, a Scotsman, through the movie "Somewhere in Time". She has an 18 year old cat name Spot. Jami has a passion for her faith, music and international travel.

Jeremy Sweat

Jeremy got his start in Christian Radio just out of high school in 1992. An interview on the local station in Saint Joseph, MO led to part-time work that turned into a full-time career. Over the years, he’s gained experience in production, traffic, sales, fund raising, promotions, web design and programming. He is an Addy award winning producer and copywriter, and a published Marketing author on the topic of Global branding. He made the move to Nashville with his wife Rachel and two boys Zach and Ty to be closer to family and to spend long summer days on the lake.

Ed Evens

Ed was raised in the Pacific Northwest and got his start in radio in his teens at a small non-commercial station that played mostly Southern Gospel music. Since college he has worked in many different formats of radio including country, pop and contemporary Christian, but Southern Gospel remains as favorite. He loves to build and fix things in his spare time. He counts chocolate as one of the major food groups.

Weekends

Les Butler

Les Butler is more than just a weekend host. He has been a part of Southern Gospel music for many years and directly involved with Southern Gospel radio for 33 years. He serves as the Publisher of Singing News Magazine. Each weekend, he hosts the popular weekend specialty programs, "Front Porch Fellowship" (bluegrass gospel) and "The Old Country Church." And it's not unusual to find him on stage at any given concert adding his talents from mandolin, piano, guitar, dobro to playing the bass. He is a previous March of Dimes AIR award winner and Paul Heil Award winner for excellence in broadcasting.

Program Director

Vance Dillard

Vance is the Program Director for the Today's Christian Music network and the Word in Praise network, along with WFFH-FM/WFFI-FM broadcast properties, all operated by the Nashville-based Salem Music Network. Salem Music Network General Manager, Michael Miller commented, "Vance has a very impressive track record of successfully programming major market, adult contemporary radio stations, combined with an intimate knowledge of the Nashville market and a passion for Christian music. His mature leadership and demonstrated ability to grow highly rated radio stations makes him a perfect fit for our Nashville-based music programming operations." Dillard spent most of the 1970s working for full service adult AM stations, then the 1980s as program director for a top-rated station in Tampa. In 1988 he went to work for Jacor (now part of Clear Channel) and stayed with the company for 12 years. He spent one year of that time as WLW-Cincinnati operations manager and the rest of the time as program director of Atlanta's adult contemporary station, Peach-FM. Additionally, he served as the corporate adult contemporary brand manager, having programming oversight over scores of Clear Channel adult contemporary stations outside of Atlanta. Most recently, Dillard enjoyed a similar position with South Central Communications, owners of several adult contemporary formatted stations, including top-rated Mix 92.9 in Nashville.
